Mercedes is injecting a little extra attitude into some of its smallest models. The new UrbanStyle Edition will be available on the B-Class, GLA, and both the four-door coupe and five-door “shooting brake” versions of the CLA. But so far, at least, they’re being offered only in Germany.

The UrbanStyle models add a dose of AMG styling without the performance upgrades that typically come with it. That includes a new exterior body kit, LED headlights, bigger wheels, and faux-leather Artico upholstery in black with white stitching. A new multifunction, leather-trimmed sports steering wheel features perforated grips, and metallic and carbon-fiber trim. They also bundle otherwise optional equipment like an 8-inch display, heated comfort front seats, and active high-beam assist.

They all include AMG multi-spoke alloys, measuring 18 inches in diameter on the B-Class and CLA models, or 19 inches in the case of the GLA crossover. They build upon the interior upgrades already encompassed in the Urban Line package, and each can also be combined with the Night package for an even more sinister look.

Full-on AMG performance models these are not, but then they don’t cost as much as those do, either. The B-Class UrbanStyle Edition is priced from €31,755.15 (about $37k at current exchange rates), the CLA Coupé UrbanStyle Edition from €33,546.10 (~$39k), the CLA Shooting Brake Urban Style Edition from €34,141.10 ($40k), and the GLA UrbanStyle Edition from €33,058.20 ($39k).

Bear in mind, though, that prices in Germany tend to be higher than those in the US due to the added taxes, even for locally made vehicles. But even so, the unbridled AMG GLA45 performance crossover still carries a far higher price tag in Germany at €56,852.25 (over $66k), or over $50k in the US.
