Startech unveiled their version of the Maserati Levante back in March, ahead of the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The car they showed us was predominantly white, had black wheels and red calipers. Sporty, yes, but nothing to really write home about.
This one, however, looks a lot more aggressive thanks to the all-black theme. The car boasts custom front and rear bumpers, a carbon fiber front spoiler and rear diffuser and a roof spoiler, along with 21″ wheels in a dual-tone black and red finish.
Other features include a custom exhaust, as well as a host of either carbon fiber or wood trim pieces for the interior. The Brabus-owned tuner can also add custom leather upholstery, illuminated sill plates, new floor mats and more.
If you choose to spec your Levante with everything Startech has to offer, you can easily spend well over 10,000 euros ($11,600) on top of what you already forked out for the first-ever SUV to come out of Maserati’s production line.
As for performance, the German tuner was supposedly working on engine upgrades earlier this year, but we’ve yet to hear any official numbers. Until recently, the most powerful Levante you could buy was the S that puts out 430 PS (424 HP) and 580 Nm (427 lb-ft) of torque. It’s since been dethroned by the Levante Trofeo, though, which packs a remarkable 590 PS (582 HP) and 730 Nm (538 lb-ft) of torque.
