When Koenigsegg wraps up production of the Agera RS, the firm’s attention will shift towards the development of the hybrid Regera, a car promising to be unlike any other to wear the Angelholm-based company’s logo.

Whereas all other Koenigsegg models in the past have made their power solely from powerful V8s, the Regera is a hybrid and famously makes do without a traditional gearbox, instead transmitting its power to the road via a direct drive system.

While the benefits of this system are clear in Christian von Koenigsegg’s mind, we can still imagine some prospective Koenigsegg owners wanting to enjoy the pleasure provided by a traditional gearbox.

Thankfully for those lucky few, a rather stunning Agera has popped up for sale from Deals on Wheels and could be the perfect option.

This particular Agera is a 2012 model and despite being the base model in the range, is still rather insane. In fact, its twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 delivers 940 hp at 6,900 rpm and 810 lb-ft at 4,000 rpm, enough to send the Swedish hypercar to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds and towards a top speed approaching 250 mph (400 km/h).

Making this Agera particularly attractive is its silver paint scheme and use of bright blue racing stripes, giving it a real supercar-vibe. It also has just 1,009 km on the clock, meaning its engine is essentially brand new.

As for the price, it will set back locals 4.99 million AED (about $1.3 million). Not cheap but certainly a lot cheaper than the $2+ million base price of a Regera.
