A few days ago, it emerged that Lamborghini had trademarked the name Aventador S, believed to be in preparation for the facelifted model hitting the market.
Although spy shots have hinted at a few styling changes, they’ve been far from conclusive. Thankfully, LamboCARS has put together a host of renderings providing a look at what shape the new Aventador S may take.
In these renderings, the model has a front fascia and bumper design that sits somewhere in between the current Aventador and the range-topping SV. Additionally, there are new side skirts and fixed rear quarter air intakes similar to the SV.
Nevertheless, of all the styling changes, the most comprehensive come at the rear. For starters, the grilles have been changed and the taillights revamped. There’s also a new rear diffuser and an overhauled exhaust design arranged in a triangular design with three tailpipes. This is instead of the wide, single outlet of the current car made up of four individual tailpipes.
Beyond its new look, the Aventador S will receive a bump in power by 20-40 hp, a number of new electronics and an upgraded cockpit. The revamped Aventador is expected to make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2017 in March.
