Controversy over the election of Donald Trump as the next President of the United States is continuing across the country, but one anti-Trump protester took it to a whole new (felonious) level.
On Friday morning, the vandal torched a silver Ford Mustang with a pro-Donald Trump sticker in Portland, Oregon, and also spray painted it with ‘Fk Trump’ in bright pink. A silver Volvo parked behind the Mustang was also vandalized with the same graffiti message.
The Portland Fire & Rescue managed to douse the flames, but not before the fire destroyed the muscle car’s interior and most of its body work.
Speaking with Katu 2, Chevonne Bell, the owner of the Volvo, said “There’s no stickers. There’s nothing political about my old Volvo, but it was spray-painted along with the vehicle that was on fire.
“It was really surprising, of course, and disheartening. I don’t understand what the point is. It just caused a headache for me and spent a lot of time and energy having to get the paint off and, you know, dealing with the police reports.”
Authorities are still looking for the offender.
