While Mercedes-Benz did pull the wraps off the X-Class late last week, it did so with two concepts, which means that some design traits might change for the final production model that’ll hit the market in late 2017.

To provide us with an idea of how the X-Class may finally look, Theophilus Chin has rendered the off-road focused ‘Powerful Adventurer’ variant with some styling changes.

Up front, the car remains true to the concept but ditches the winch and instead adopts a slightly different front bumper incorporating horizontal fog lights. Additionally, the ride height has been dropped and a set of wheels and tyres more appropriate for road use installed. Larger wing mirrors are also included among the modifications.

Perhaps the most significant change comes at the rear where the taillights of the Powerful Adventurer have been replaced by a more conventional set. These taillights also differ dramatically to the wrap-around LED design of the road-oriented X-Class concept.
