The 2015 Formula 1 Gran Premio de Mexico was held on November 1st of last year and marked the 17th time Mexico hosted a race of the Formula 1 world championship.

Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg came out on top in 2015, with his teammate Lewis Hamilton notching 2nd place and Williams’ Valtteri Bottas rounding out the podium.

This year’s race will take place on Sunday, Oct 30th and the most exciting battle to watch for will be the one between points leader Nico Rosberg, with 331, and Hamilton with 305.

But until then, if you’re still unfamiliar with the track and would like to know more about it, check out this circuit guide video narrated by David Coulthard – as you’ll get to see Felipe Massa doing one of his quick laps back in 2015. Also, Massa finished the race P6 after qualifying 7th on the grid.

The track starts off with a very long straight where Massa got up to 361 km/h (224 mph) before braking into turn 1, which actually precedes a sequence of three low-speed corners.

Of course, we’re betting you’d rather hear Coulthard describe the lap so we’ll just take a backseat and let you enjoy Massa’s handywork by clicking this here.
