For the lucky few to have secured a build allocation for the latest-generation Ford GT, the marque has started sending out special welcome guides detailing the next steps in receiving the car.
Brooks Weisblat from Drag Times on YouTube recently received his welcome guide and has kindly shared it with the world, offering an insight into the world of Ford’s most important customers.
As you may imagine, the pack includes additional details about the ordering process for the car as well as giving GT owners the choice of which dealership they’d like to buy the car through. Additionally, it provides an explanation of who will receive their GTs first, based on factors like location, weather conditions and vehicle configurations.
Perhaps the most interesting tidbit of information offered by this video is that the welcome guide says the first customer deliveries will commence in December 2016. That comes despite the fact that performance specifications about the car are still yet to be made public and the press haven’t even had the chance to drive the car.
If deliveries do indeed start before the end of the year, we can expect to learn more about the car in the coming weeks. To say we’re excited would be an understatement.
