Lucasfilm’s empire has chosen Nissan as their latest partner for the new movie ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’, just because the automaker has a car that’s called Rogue – or so they say…

The initial announcement was made earlier this summer, and it might have slipped away unless you’re true Star Wars fans, but Nissan is here to remind us about their partnership with the multi-billion-dollar franchise, one that will give birth to a limited edition of the Rogue.

Dubbed the Rogue One Star Wars and based on the 2017MY SUV, it is going to add some unique touches, including special badging, which has just been revealed by the automaker, but when it comes to its exact specification, nothing is known so far, except that it will premiere at the 2016 LA Auto Show, in November, aimed at the US and Canadian markets.

However, we do have Jeremy Tucker, Nissan North America Marketing Communications and Media VP, saying: “The Star Wars film franchise has pushed the boundaries of technology since the debut of the original episode nearly 40 years ago. Nissan is doing the same with our industry-leading cars, trucks and SUVs – so it’s natural that we join forces.
