Held every other year, the Paris Auto Show consistently serves as one of the largest and most important events on the motoring calendar

As detailed in our comprehensive A-Z guide, this year’s show is hosting the world and European premieres of some pivotally important cars for the industry, none more so than the I.D. electric concept from Volkswagen and the Generation EQ concept presented by Mercedes-Benz.

But if performance cars are more your thing, then Shmee150’s wrap-up of the show offers a perfect overview of some of the show’s most expensive, exclusive and fastest cars.

Certainly the most desirable car unveiled in Paris is the LaFerrari Aperta. Restricted to just 209 units worldwide, the drop-top LaFerrari is one of the most sought-after cars on the planet. It seems inevitable that when deliveries commence, examples will be trading hands for easily over $5 million a piece.

Another interesting car presented at Paris is Renault’s Trezor concept, created to preview the firm’s updated design language. While it’ll never reach the production line, it is particularly interesting thanks to its utilization of a Formula E electric drivetrain and a selection of advanced autonomous technologies.

Other performance car highlights include the Audi RS3 Sedan, Ferrari GTC4Lusso T, Honda Civic Type R Prototype and Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster.
