Prototypes of the facelifted GLA have been spied for almost a year now, so logically its launch is not that far away into the future.
The latest spy video shows the production-ready crossover quietly sitting in a parking lot near the company’s headquarters, surrounded by numerous other Mercedes-Benz cars, but what is suppose to keep it away from the spotlight is actually bringing it forward – namely, its camouflage.
Covering the taillights, rear bumper and probably on the front end as well, which isn’t visible in this short video, the vinyl stickers suggest that this is where the most significant visual updates will be found, but open the door and you should be greeted by an upgraded infotainment system that works together with an 8-inch touchscreen display. Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink compatibility, along with the usual revised trim, are believed to be part of the updates list as well.
Details surrounding its engine lineup remain in the dark, and so does a possible 2016 Paris Auto Show presentation, but from Daimler’s map of future products, it’s known that the facelifted GLA will go on sale next year.
