The driver of this 18-wheeler thought he had blown a tire, when in fact he had a Hyundai Sonata crunched against the front end of his Peterbilt truck.

Luckily, the driver of the Hyundai wasn’t injured, as Mr Russell Neal II (truck driver) stopped after he saw smoke, pulling over on the side of Interstate 69, just south of Cleveland, OH.

“All I could think to do was pray and to hope that I wasn’t going to roll, because I figured if I rolled I was going to be in trouble,” said Erin Reynolds, the driver of the Sonata. “I don’t think it’s every day you see the grill of a semi in your driver’s side window that close.”

According to KHOU, Neal stated that before thinking he’d blown a tire, he also felt a bump, which is a strange way of describing a collision with a car on the highway.

Do you think it’s possible the truck driver really couldn’t notice the fact that he was dragging along that Sonata?

H/T to Jalopnik!
