An special Enzo, one of just four units painted in gloss black, is expected to sell for between $2.5-$3.5 million when it is sold by Mecum Auctions in Monterey next month.
The US-spec model is one of just 399 units produced (excluding the Pope’s car), and prior to the LaFerrari was Maranello’s top supercar.
While there are no details available, this Enzo was awarded a Ferrari Classiche certification of authenticity earlier this month after receiving a new clutch and major service by Ferrari of Los Angeles, so it should run as smooth as new.
Unlike its hybrid successor, the Enzo relies solely on its 6.0-liter naturally-aspirated, Formula One-derived V12. Tuned to deliver an impressive 660 hp, it accelerates to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.3 seconds and onto a claimed 218 mph (350 km/h) top speed.
