When talking about used modern Ferraris whose price tags haven’t skyrocketed, the list is short and it mostly revolves around the California.
However, since the F12 Berlinetta is alive and kicking for a few years now, its predecessor, the 599 GTB, is starting to become more affordable. Take this particular example, for instance, which came to life in 2009, three years after Ferrari commenced production of the model in Maranello. Its clock reads just over 22,000 km (13,700 miles) and it could change hands for less than six figures.
Estimated to go from £85,000 to £95,000 ($112,587-125,832), the supercar could be a steal, considering that it’s in pristine condition. It sports a white paint with red leather interior and factory specifications include Dayona seats, LED shift lights for the paddle shifters and a premium Bose sound system. It also comes with a full service history, manuals, original service book, leather wallet, key code card, spare key, radio key card and a current MoT.
This 599 is set to go under the hammer on July 30, at the SilverstoneClassic auction and it’s only natural for prospective buyers to ask themselves what they’d rather have: a brand-new sports car, like a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S (starting price £90,843) or a fully-fledged V12 supercar from Maranello?
