Engineered to handle even the most arduous conditions, the all-new Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 is the result of a close collaboration between two off-road & pick-up specialists.
The AT35 is by far the most robust and capable pick-up that Isuzu UK has ever built. It features the regular D-Max’s 2.5-liter turbodiesel engine, one-tonne (2,204 lbs) payload and 3.5 tonne (7,716 lbs) towing capacities, yet adds multiple key enhancements such as a re-engineered suspension, Fox Performance dampers, all-terrain 35″ tires, widened arches and an increased ride height by an extra 125 mm (4.9 in).
With sales starting on July 25, customers will be glad to know that standard equipment includes a six-speaker audio package with an ‘Exciter’ speaker in the roof lining, iPod/USB/Bluetooth connectivity, heated & folding door mirrors, as well as a leather steering wheel with audio and cruise controls. Double-cab models boast a full-leather upholstery for an even more premium interior, plus automatic climate control.
Exterior standard features include projector headlamps, a body-colored front bumper, chrome trio of door handles, grille and rear bumper, LED rear lights and a rear load liner. The Double-cab adds roof bars and rear parking sensors for increased practicality.
In terms of options, buyers will be able to choose from a wide range of accessories that can further enhance the car’s interior, practicality as well as visuals. So if you’re interested in more styling upgrades, you can go for the Arctic Trucks ‘Truxedo’ which provides added security for cargo in the load bed, or the Arctic Trucks Sports Bar which according to Isuzu, will improve the car’s overall styling.
Off-road-specific accessories include a 27-LED square work light, skid plates for enhanced under-body protection and an ARB tire inflator to keep you going when the proverbial going gets tough.
Customers buying the double cab AT35 can also upgrade their infotainment system with the Pioneer AVIC-F860BT audio system, DVD & European sat-nav system with 6.1″ touchscreen, reversing camera and Parrot Bluetooth kit for both wireless calls as well as streaming music.
