You may expect a supercar as exclusive as the Aventador SV Roadster to be listed for sale on a site targeted towards millionaires, right?
Well, it’s not: it is currently for sale on Craigslist, the very same site where you can pick up a 25-year-old used fridge.
The listing comes courtesy of Deluxe Car Storages & Sales in Long Island, New York and the SV Roadster in question is certainly one of the most eye-catching we’ve come across. As a matter of fact, the listing claims that the combination of Le Mans Blu and the Nero Cosmus interior make this a true one-off.
The blue elements on the outside are subdued by a plethora of matte carbon fiber components like the removable roof, the rear wing, all the new air intakes and the rear diffuser. The standard gloss black wheels have also been optioned as have the yellow brake calipers. Meanwhile the interior brings together black and yellow leather and alcantara.
The Aventador SV’s true headline is its utilization of a naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, spitting out 740 hp and 509 lb-ft of torque, making the 0-60 mph (96 km/h) sprint achievable in just 2.8 seconds.
Given this example’s specification, it has an MSRP of just over $573,000 and an asking price of $679,000. While a $106,000 mark-up is significant, it isn’t unreasonable given the models’ rarity and desirability.
