Those who were teenagers in the early 2000s and grew up to be petrol heads and racing fans, Linkin Park may still be relevant.
We all know rock music goes great with everything high-speed, so how about a Mercedes-AMG GT3 wrapped in a livery designed by the American band? It’s not unheard of for a team to adopt a distinctive attire for its racing cars, but this may very well be the first time a music group promotes itself on a racing car and designs the livery.
Mercedes and Linkin Park have teamed up in the past, as the latter’s music was used in an ad for the C63, but this time it’s Blancpain series AMG-Team Black Falcon that gets the band’s attention.
From the eight Mercedes-AMG GT3s set to race at the 24 Hours of Spa – in the last weekend of July – this car in particular is in the best situation to rock the race, as the Californian rock group crafted the unique uniform using red and black accents in order to highlight their name and logo.
Needless to say, the final result looks pretty stunning and considering that Team Black Falcon finished 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th at the Nürburgring 24-hour event earlier this season, all eyes will be on the AMG GT3 racing cars. And who knows, maybe the livery will enter the hall of fame if the vehicle writes motorsport history.
