An adrenaline rush through horsepower packed in a 10-year old BMW M3 that is in pristine condition is the best therapy for a petrolhead.

Things get better if it’s not your average E46 M3, but the CS, or Competition Package, which followed the GTR and CSL as the final version of the top dog in the E46 gen.

Compared to the normal M3, it adds competition springs and dampers, a quick ratio CSL steel rack, CSL cross-drilled brake discs, aluminum trim, 19-inch BBS forged alloy wheels and Alcantara upholstery for the steering wheel and handbrake lever.

Produced in 2006, this M3 is one of the 275 right-hand drive cars delivered in the United Kingdom and during its lifetime, it was in the possession of three owners. It sports a Silver Grey finish with black leather upholstery, complemented by the factory options list that includes xenon headlights, park distance control, sat-nav, automatic air-con and CD-player.

Accompanied by a comprehensive service history, the vehicle, whose clock reads just a little over 21,000 miles (~33,800 km), will hit the auction block at SilverstoneAuctions on July 30, where it is expected to fetch between £24,000 and £28,000.
