If you’ve always wanted to experience the fastest modern Jag but you couldn’t afford one, all you need to do is get to the Nurburgring.

The British company announced the launch of their new ‘Jaguar Co-Pilot Nordschleife’ programme which offers passenger rides in a specially-prepped F-Type SVR on the famous German track.

The halo model of the F-Type range is powered by a 567hp version of the supercharged 5.0-litre V8 channelled to all four wheels, making the SVR version the fastest series production Jaguar in the history of the brand.

0-60mph (0-96km/h) comes in 3.5 seconds with the top speed set at a round 200mph (322km/h). Jaguar will provide each ‘co-pilot’ with a race suit and helmet plus a HANS system while onboard cameras are mounted inside the cabin to capture the experience for each passenger.

Jaguar’s Ring Taxi comes equipped with extra safety kit, including a roll cage, Recaro racing seats and race four-point harnesses. “Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations division has engineered the F-TYPE SVR to be lighter, faster and more powerful while still remaining a usable supercar every day,” said Mark Stanton, Director of Jaguar Land Rover’s SVR. “The Nordschleife is a fantastic circuit on which to experience all of the engineering enhancements my team has applied to the F-TYPE SVR.”

Visitors and fans will be able to take a passenger lap in the F-Type SVR for the next 16 consecutive weekends, starting now and up until October for the price of €295 ($334 in current exchange rates) per person. If interested, you can book your place here.
