Details on the third installment of the open-world Forza Horizon series were announced today, along with a very promising first trailer.

The whole game is set in Australia, providing an open-world map which is twice as big as the one in the previous game and more importantly a tremendous diversity of places you can drive.

All-in-all the new game will offer a selection of 350 cars to choose from, including the Lamborghini Centenario, a new selection of Barn Finds and special vehicles like the Ariel Nomad, Class 10 buggies and even B.J Baldwin’s Trophy Truck.

Unlike the previous Horizon games, the third installment gives players full control of the Festival in the gameplay, giving them the opportunity for a bespoke experience. The game will also be the first Forza that can be played on both Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms. This means that Xbox players and PC users will be able seamlessly play the game together while those who buy the digital version will be able to play the game, save their progress and pick up on the other platform.

The official launch of the Forza Horizon 3 on Xbox One and Windows 10 will take place on September 27.
