First English-speaking video review finds the new Alfa Romeo Giulia Cloverleaf worthy of the hype.

After years and years of waiting, Alfa’s most significant model in its modern history has finally arrived, with the first batch of journos getting behind its wheel for a short drive on the company’s Balocco test track.

Autotrader
has brought us their first driving impressions of Alfa’s M3 rival, and the news are really promising indeed.

With 503hp on tap from an all-new twin-turbo 2.9-litre V6 engine, the Giulia Cloverleaf wants to teach a lesson or two to ze German high-performance sedans but its task is far from easy. Thankfully, we get to hear that Alfa Romeo has a properly engineered car in its hands, with a pointy front end, a light but direct steering and a forgiving character close to its limit.

Does this mean that Alfa Romeo has finally returned? Having a solid flagship that everyone wants to drive certainly helps its case.
