The exquisite Monegasque micro-size sovereign state, located on the French Riviera, is known for its glitz, glamour and grandeur, but also for its tax-free lifestyle.

That’s why you’ll see many affluent folks showing-off their excessively modified sports cars and supercars, albeit this year the police decided to calm spirits down with some tickets.

As Monaco wasn’t filled up to the brim with high-end exotics revving their hearts out for the bystanders, the Top Marques event gathered even more ostentatious automobiles for car fans to film right at the entrance of the famous tunnel section, part of the Circuit the Monaco – a gathering point for carparazzis.

This time though, the area was heavily patrolled by police, stopping almost every overly enthusiastic driver trying to rev, accelerate and offer the crowd a good time. By the looks of it, the 5-0 even pulled over motorists who hadn’t done anything wrong (on camera at least) – making us think that the main reason for pulling them over – the noise, as Youtuber Shmee explains in the second video – was a little overzealous.

Either way, a €300 ($340) fine won’t probably stop supercars owners from enjoying themselves.
