Nissan has lifted the veils off a special edition of the X-Trail, dubbed Style, which goes on sale in select European markets.

Based on the range-topping Tekna grade, the SUV adds features such as 19-inch alloy wheels, protective trim on the boot lip, practical boot floor mat, alloy sport pedals and chrome door sills, joining firm’s infotainment system, accessed via the 7-inch touchscreen, part of the Tekna’s level of specification.

Nissan also offers leather upholstery for the seats, which come with electrical adjustment and heated functions for the driver and front passenger, leather-wrapped gear selector, leather steering wheel and satin-finish roof, along with the real-world safety systems including Nissan Safety Shield with Around View Monitor, Forward Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning and Traffic Sign Recognition.

The special edition SUV comes with a choice of two engines, the 1.6-liter DIG-T 163 PS petrol and the 1.6-liter DCI 130 PS diesel, connected to either a manual or an Xtronic gearbox in two-wheel or four-wheel drive layout. Both powertrains are equipped with start/stop technology to improve fuel consumption.
