Land Rover Classic is launching a very limited run of restored-back-to-perfection Series I models.

The Reborn Series I will make its public debut at Techno Classica, with Land Rover Classic to offer only 25 of these original and much sought after 1948 off-roaders.

With the expert team having already hand-picked 25 Series I chassis, each customer will be given a brand new and original 1948 Defender. The Reborn cars will be available in five period-correct paint finishes, including Light Green, Bronze Green, RAF Blue, Dove Grey and Poppy Red.

“The launch of the Reborn initiative represents a fantastic opportunity for customers to own a valuable and collectable automotive icon,” said Tim Hannig, Director, Jaguar Land Rover Classic. “Reborn showcases Land Rover Classic’s expertise in restoring and maintaining our loyal customers’ prized Land Rovers. “

Each customer will get the chance to follow the restoration of his vehicle from start to finish at the new Classic workshop located in the original Defender production centre in Solihull.

No word on the price though, but if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it.
