Mercedes-Benz will continue to expand the new generation E-Class family beyond the current saloon, introduced earlier this year.
Expected to become the second body style of the executive car, the E-Class Estate will bring more practicality to the lineup, with its more versatile layout and additional boot space.
The model holds no secrets, except for the tailgate design, the shape of the headlights and the exact capacity of the boot, as everything else will be shared with the already available saloon, starting with the engine lineup, the interior design and all the safety gizmos. However, Mercedes-Benz will introduce a self-leveling rear suspension.
An exact reveal date for the 2017 E-Class Estate is not known at the time, but we might see it at the end of summer, before it debuts at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.
Besides the sedan and wagon, Mercedes-Benz will offer a coupe version of the new W213 generation, which will also be joined by a convertible, and possibly, an Audi A6 Allroad fighter with plastic body claddings and an increased ride height.
