UK Customers will be able to order the new Volkswagen Beetle Dune starting with April 5th, from £21,300.
After making its latest appearance at the Chicago Auto Show, the VW Beetle Dune is now making its way into UK showrooms in both Coupe and Cabriolet form.
Buyers will have a choice of two engines, namely a 1.2-liter petrol TSI unit with 105 PS and a 2.0-liter TDI with 150 PS, as both come with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG gearbox.
The entry-level petrol-powered version also happens to be the cheapest at £21,300, while the entry-level TDI would set you back £23,805 – as long as we’re talking about the Coupe models. The equivalent convertible versions are significantly more expensive at £24,255 and £26,875 respectively.
As standard, all Beetle Dune models come with ABS and ESC (Electronic Stability Control), whereas the Cabrio features rollover protection.
As for the Dune’s bespoke look, it comes courtesy of a custom multifunction leather steering wheel with a decorative insert and contrast ‘Tumeric’ stitching, leather-clad handbrake with contrast stitching and carpet mats front and rear with ‘Tumeric’ contrast stitching.
Also standard are the Light and Sight pack which offers an auto dimming rear-view mirror, automatic headlights and rain sensing wipers.
