When out on the track, finding out that your brakes have gone and that you’re running out of road is probably one of the scariest scenarios you can imagine.
You’re about to have a front seat spot to just that type of scenario, where you’ll be able to judge the driver’s actions for yourself and even get to enjoy some really aggressive driving as well as a pretty great supercharged soundtrack.
Though we can’t be certain, we think the car in question could be a 2015 Camaro ZL1, which is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine, good for 580 HP. These types of numbers help the ZL1 get from 0 to 60 (96 km/h) in 3.9 seconds, but what they don’t do is help out in case your brakes just up and quit on you.
Still, the driver didn’t panic, or at least it doesn’t seem like he did. And while sitting pretty in our office chairs could make us feel uniquely qualified to judge what he did or didn’t do, all we know is that he had to navigate a Need for Speed-worthy obstacle course, which included smashing through a fence and avoiding a pick up truck.
