This is a man’s world, but it would be nothing without a woman or a car. Only kidding, it’s not a man’s world: just ask Frank Underwood.
Seriously now, as long as I can remember, there was never a stand on an automotive show that didn’t have some ladies on it right beside, and inside, the cars.
Trying to attract the, mostly male, visitors, maybe, though I never checked if they succeeded. One of the job’s perks is having a couple of days to check out the models (and attend presentations) before the doors opened for the public, and that was the main focus.
No tunnel vision, of course, and one can never miss the ladies even if one wanted to. Mind you, they were there to do a job, too. Namely, smile, pose for the cameras, be polite (never met one who wasn’t) and act professionally. And that’s exactly what they did.
Scantily dressed models are nowadays a dwindling trend and this much was evident this year in Geneva. Why, even Playboy dropped nudity from its covers, so it should come as no surprise.
A puritan I am most definitely not, but classy always trumps flesh. There’s a full gallery right below to judge for yourselves.
