As it gets closer to the assembly line, the second addition to the GLC family, the so-called ‘Coupe’, is starting to show more skin in a new film.
Previewed by a concept last year, the new GLC Coupe is based on the existing GLC adding a sleeker looking body with a rakish roofline – something that will no doubt have an adverse effect to its rear headroom and boot space.

Exterior modifications will also include tweaked bumpers and redesigned lighting units on both ends, while the interior of the BMW X4 rival will mirror the one of its regular and more practical sibling.

At its heart, the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe will carry an assortment of four-cylinder turbo diesel and petrol engines. The latter will include a 2.0-liter mill with 241 HP and mated to a 9-speed auto, and a 3.0-liter V6 bi-turbo for the GLC 450 AMG Coupe, while a plug-in hybrid variant might complete the lineup.

There is no official announcement on a reveal date just yet, but let’s not forget that the Geneva Motor Show as well as the New York Auto Show are just around the corner.
