The bad boy of the E-Class range is getting ready for its big return, with our spies giving you a fresh glimpse.
As you can see, this prototype E63 AMG has lost almost all of its camouflage since Mercedes has already revealed the normal E-Class.
Despite the remaining wrap trying its best to hide the differences, we can clearly see the pumped-up front end with its huge air intakes, the wider fenders and its bespoke engine hood. The face of the new E63 AMG just looks mega.
At the back we find the rear diffuser framed by the quad exhaust pipes and a small spoiler on the trunk. Behind the new alloy wheels we can see the bigger brakes with their slotted and drilled rotors and the matching large calipers.
We already heard that the new Mercedes E63 AMG is going to use the same twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine that powers the AMG GT and C63 AMG, with the latest reports suggesting a power figure closer to the 600hp region for the AMG S version.
The new E63 will also be the first AMG model to come with the nine-speed automatic gearbox. Mercedes will offer their latest super-sedan in rear- and all-wheel-drive configurations.
As for the official debut, we think Mercedes will lift the veil off the new E63 AMG at the Paris Motor Show in October.
