The facelifted 2017 Ferrari FF has just been teased through an official invitation to its world debut on February 15.

The invite reveals that the car will debut at Lake Como during Villa Erba and reads “Come discover a whole new world”.

While it doesn’t specifically confirm that it is indeed the updated FF, all signs point towards it being just that, as it has long been reported it would receive an update sometime in 2016 and, with it being the oldest horse in Ferrari’s stable, it makes perfect sense.

In two of the five small images, we get to see the overhauled circular taillights, evidently inspired by those of the 488 GTB. They sport a red LED outer-ring acting as the brake light and a darkened central element housing the reversing lights.

Elsewhere, the invite previews the new headlights of the refreshed Italian grand tourer and reveals some new metal strakes and vents, most likely along the sides of the car.

Beyond its updated design, the new FF is likely to retain the outgoing model’s 6.3-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine, probably updated from 660 to as much as 700 PS.

That revolutionary all-wheel drive system will be retained, though rumor has it the seven-speed dual clutch transmission will be replaced by a new eight-speed one.

Additionally, Consistent rumors suggest that the new FF will be offered in entry-level guise with the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 as the California T and 488 GTB.

Given that it will debut to the world in mid-February, it goes without saying it will grace Ferrari’s stand at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
