Suzuki has revealed three special concepts for next month’s Tokyo Auto Salon, each of which are based around different JDM models and come complete with bespoke paint schemes and liveries.
To us, certainly the most interesting of the three is the Hustler Rough Road Style. Baring similarities to the Toyota FJ albeit on a much, much smaller scale, this curious off-roader is quite an interesting prospect. Differentiating it from the run-of-the-mill Hustler is the jacked-up suspension system and the knobby tires.
Other key design traits of the car are black badges and black wheel arches with the roof and A-pillars also painted black. A rather cute feature are the caged-in headlights.
Also created by Suzuki is the Ignis Water Activity Concept which despite its small size, has been installed with a kayak on the roof. It is also sitting on a set of tightly-spoked black wheels with orange outer rims. There are also orange wing mirrors and a matte green paint scheme.
Last but not least is the Alto Works GP, based around the brand new Alto Works. Mechanically, it remains identical but has been adorned with a livery mimicking Suzuki’s MotoGP bike, therefore combining blue and green. To help reduce weight of the tiny kei car, a carbon fiber hood has been created.
