The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class long wheelbase returns to our attention as the model was captured on video while testing on public roads.
This isn’t the first time we’ve spotted the new E-Class LWB, as we saw a couple of months back and, judging by its license plate, we dare say it is the very same car.
The new footage shows the luxury cruiser driven on the streets and it’s not alone, but joined by the SLC, Mercedes’ facelifted SLK, which is believed to be unveiled soon, probably at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show.
Preliminary information indicates that the stretched variant of the W213 Mercedes-Benz E-Class, with its longer rear doors and increased rear-seat room is probably aimed towards the Chinese market and chances of seeing it outside the Asian country are slim.
In the meantime, Mercedes has already released the first official photo gallery with the interior design of the new E-Class. Some of the images partially reveal its exterior too, as the upcoming rival of the Audi A6 and BMW 5-Series is getting ready to be unveiled. The luxury sedan will debut at the 2016 NAIAS, in early January.
