To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Overfinch has taken the wraps off a very special variant of the Land Rover Defender.
Limited to just five units worldwide, the Defender 40th Anniversary Edition perfectly highlights Overfinch’s experience in modifying and customizing Land Rovers.
From a visual standpoint, Overfinch has left no stone unturned by installing new bumpers front and rear, a bespoke bonnet, silver front grille as well as customized headlights and additional LED daytime running lights on the front bumper. Moving to the sides, one will find bespoke side sills with a chequered pattern with the fuel cap at the rear now created from machined aluminum and complete with a prominent Overfinch badge.
Rounding off the exterior modifications are new 18-inch black wheels, an additional step at the rear, new tailgate badging and tweaked taillights.
Interestingly, Overfinch hasn’t tackled any of the mechanical components of the Defender, choosing instead to leave it standard. That means modifications are completed in the cabin with sporty Recaro seats, reversing camera, DAB radio, an Alpine infotainment system complete with satellite navigation, new gauges and aluminum pedals.
Each of the five units will be adorned with a numbered plaque, while each example is retailing at over €70,000.
