Sharing the same space with the new Focus RS, the Ford Focus Sport came to the 2015 Essen Motor Show too, where it managed to capture some attention.

If the model looks familiar, you’re right, as “the blue oval” introduced the Fiesta Red and Black editions in mid-2014.

The compact hatch is available in Race Red or Panther Black, contrasted by red or black radiator grille surround, front apron, side mirror caps, roof and diffuser, along with new black 18-inch alloy wheels covering red-finished brake calipers.

The cabin of the “new” Ford Focus Sport was not ignored either, as the same black-red finish can be seen on the sports seats, the steering wheel, the gear ever and the handbrake, with the looks completed by aluminum pedals.

Under the hood, the compact hatchback is offered with a 1.5-liter EcoBoost turbocharged petrol engine, in two outputs, with 150 PS (148hp) or 182 PS (179hp), along with a 2.0-liter TDCi diesel, rated at 150 PS (148hp).

The most affordable version of the model is the 150PS EcoBoost, which starts from €24,960 ($26,496) in Germany.
