A rare Lamborghini Aventador Roadster will need a heavy makeover after its driver lost control and crashed it in Estonia’s capital, Tallinn.
The 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 supercar’s all-wheel drive didn’t help its owner, a local businessman, from keeping it on the road, as it hit a lamppost on Tallinn Maritime Boulevard.
The images show damage to the front bumper, splitter, hood and right front wheel, which will result in a high servicing bill for it owner, that is, if the insurance company won’t cover it.
The exotic model crashed near a tram system, which caused delays for the passengers and, since it’s a rare sight in the Baltic state, it also attracted a lot of curious bystanders. Local authorities have stated that the driver will not be charged with any offenses.
The good news is that nobody was hurt in this incident, but the bad part is that the same cannot be said about the bodywork of the silver-finished Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, or the driver’s self-confidence, as he will probably think twice in the future before pushing the throttle all the way down.
