Lotus is initiating a franchising program for its Driving Academy in order to create a global network of its famed training schools.
The Lotus Driving Academy currently receives over 2,000 drivers per year at the headquarters of the brand in Hethel. The franchising program aims to increase multiple times the number of visitors with the introduction of new, international driving academies in 2016.
“The driver training packages have been developed and fine-tuned over the years to keep pace with the progression and increased performance of Lotus cars, while staying true to Lotus philosophies,” said Jean-Marc Gales, Lotus CEO. “I am pleased to announce that with this new franchising programme many more Lotus fans and driving enthusiasts around the world will be able to experience Lotus cars on track and fulfill their driving ambition.”
The new franchising program offers the opportunity to interested parties to become a licensed partner of Lotus by buying into a tested business model and becoming a part of the new global network of Lotus’ Driving Academies.
Lotus will carefully select its prospective partners to ensure that their high level of quality and instruction is replicated around the world. Franchisees will receive a complete suite of start-up assets, becoming a direct business partner of Lotus.
