The only world premiere taking place at the LA Auto Show this week for the BMW brand is the limited edition i3 Shadow Sport BEV.
The name might have you thinking that it’s murdered out, but as you can see, it isn’t, as the Fluid Black exterior paint color and the exclusive “Deka” dark grey cloth interior are both combined with electric blue accents and highlights that kind of ruin that dark theme…
The only other changes you will find over a regular i3 are the sports suspension upgrade complimented by 19-inch turbine-style wheels, a special plaque on the dash and a moonroof, which wasn’t previously offered in North America.
Only 50 examples will be produced exclusively for the USA, priced at $48,395 a pop, including destination and handling.
