Alfa Romeo’s new Giulia has only been shown in the high-performance Quadrifoglio Verde outfit so far, but a new document that surfaced online this week, purportedly outlines the rest of the range.
According to the leaked (?) document from the AR Project 952 Facebook page, Alfa’s rival to the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Audi A4, BMW 3-Series, Jaguar XE and Cadillac ATS, will get a 2.0-liter GME (Global Medium Engine) gasoline engine under its hood, in three outputs: 200 PS, 250 PS and 280 PS.
The impressive 2.9-liter V6 turbo, “inspired by Ferrari”, will be connected to either a manual, an automatic or a DCT (double-clutch) transmission and come in rear-wheel drive exclusively, with 490 PS in the automatic and 500 PS for the other two versions.
Last but not least, diesel fans will be able to order the 2.2-liter JTDM, available in three outputs, 150 PS, 180 PS and 210 PS. All except for the latter will be connected to a manual or automatic transmission, powering the rear-wheels, while the 210 PS model will come with AWD and an automatic gearbox only.
An exact date for when Alfa Romeo will detail the entire Giulia lineup is still not known.
