With the 2015 SEMA event opening its gates today, MOPAR is showcasing the new RAM 1500 Rebel X.
If you thought that this is a brand new model you obviously don’t know how the Las Vegas event works. The full-sized pickup truck was outfitted with numerous parts and accessories created by MOPAR and it’s wearing the dark Copper exterior unique finish.
It also gets a sport performance hood and wheel flares that are covering the 17-inch cast-aluminum beadlock wheels, wrapped in 35-inch Toyo tires. The MOPAR center caps are visible and so is the distinctive Rebel grille with the RAM logo painted in Satin Black.
The truck bed is wearing a soft tri-fold tonneau cover and there are black tubular side steps, providing an easier access to the cabin. Speaking of its interior, it’s here where we notice the Katzkin leather seats with the Rebel X name embroidered. The copper stitching is visible on the armrest and steering wheel and there are also all-weather slush mats included.
The best part of this prototype is definitely found under its hood, where the 5.7-liter HEMI engine is resting. Performance capabilities are enhanced by the 5.7-liter cold-air intake signed once again by MOPAR, along with the cat-back exhaust and exhaust tips. Finally, it gets a concept air ride suspension system which is said to provide a smoother ride.
