Smart has recently teamed up with entertainment lifestyle company Disturbing London to make a series of five mini-documentaries, demonstrating the practicality and versatility of their ForFour model.
Disturbing London is known for managing artists such as Tinie Tempah, Sasha Keable, Melissa Steel and Wiz Kid and has now helped put smart’s four-seater at the heart of their summer activities which include music, parties, festivals and fashion shows.
The ForFour also featured in the ‘Smart Disturbs Your Commute’ video with UK rap artist Tinie Tempah behind the wheel, picking up Radio 1 DJ & TV presenter Greg James from his home and driving him to work. Other episodes showed the rear-engined car “disturbing Ibiza”, while supporting Tinie Tempah and his team during their sold-out weekly pool party.
In the mini-documentary “Smart Disturbs Festivals”, the ForFour helped out DJ Charlesey by transporting some of his equipment to summer festivals all over the UK – an obvious nod to the car’s practicality.
“The Smart collaboration with Disturbing London has been a very natural partnership between two brands which are both on an exciting journey – it perfectly defines what Smart is about. It was originally known for the iconic, two-seater ForTwo, but now there’s the ForFour, providing everything our customers expect from a smart, but with added practicality and rear seats,” said Krishan Bodhani, head of Smart UK.
Disturbing London also used both cars during a couple of fashion shows, where the two models allegedly attracted enough attention to themselves thanks to their stylish good looks.
Dumi Oburota, CEO of Disturbing London added “At Disturbing London we always try to disturb the creative landscapes in which we work; whether that’s music or fashion. It made total sense for us to work with smart this summer as the brand has such a cool thing going on. Smart has always known what smart is about, never tried to compete with anyone else and always stayed in its own lane.”
