Aston Martin’s entire range basically comprised of DB9-based models and the Vantage will be completely replaced within the next two years.

The DB10, the ten-of-a-kind movie car created for James Bond Spectre, shows a bit of the future. It’s not so much a design exercise announcing what the next Astons will look like on the outside – it’s more interesting what’s going on inside.

According to EVO’s review of the DB10, the interior is clearly much more production-ready than the exterior, and reviewer Jethro Bovingdon suggests that some of the components used on the movie car do look like they’re from a series automobile.

However, along with this current generation that is set to be terminated, Aston will also probably ditch its V8 and V12 engines in favor of ones obtained through its partnership with Mercedes-AMG. Purist fans of the brand may not like the whole breadth of changes it will undergo.
