Now, this project combines two of Britain’s most iconic cars, albeit ones at the opposite ends of a ruler. Its chassis, engine and suspension are off an old Range Rover, while the body is a modified classic Mini.
We don’t know the exact age of any of the cars involved in this build, but the engine is the classic 3.5-liter Rover V8 and the body is that of a Mini Mayfair (built from 1982 to 1996).
The eBay ad advertising it for sale is not what you’d call explicit. You get what the seller wants to say, but it’s clear not a lot of effort has been put into explaining the intricacies of the build.
All we learn from it is that it’s only done some 500 miles since it was built (over a year ago; was first registered in June of 2014) and it still has 9 months of MoT left before you need to schedule another mandatory technical inspection.
The seller is from Romsey, in the south-east of the UK and he wants £7,900 or around €10,980 for it.
