When BMW themselves say that these are the most exciting colors you can spray the 4 Series Gran Coupe with, fans and potential buyers alike might want to pay close attention.
First unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the Gran Coupe version of the 4-Series has yet to catch on as a proper alternative to the ever-so-popular 3-Series Sedan. Last year, the 4-Series did manage to edge out the Volvo S60 in terms of EU sales, but only because Coupe and Cabrio versions also factored in.
While BMW does offer a wide range of special colors through their ‘Individual’ program, in this case they’re urging us to focus on Frozen Bronze metallic, Santorini Blue uni, Dakar Yellow uni, Purple Silk metallic and British Racing Green uni.
Granted, it would be close to impossible to analyze each of these colors and provide any type of opinionated feedback, since different people have different opinions about which colors could be considered beautiful and which should never be seen again on an automobile.
As a general view though, the most “look at me now!” colors from this list are probably the Santorini Blue uni, Dakar Yellow uni and Purple Silk metallic. The Frozen Bronze and British Racing Green might be considered a little obscure, but only in comparison to the other three which really stand out. The Purple Silk metallic is arguably the hardest color to pull off here, but the 4-Series Gran Coupe is such a good looking car that you can probably live with any of these nuances.
Just make sure to get decent-sized wheels to go along with your BMW Individual color.
