Having made a name for itself with its Mercedes-Benz and Smart tunes, Brabus now wants a piece of the Tesla Model S cake.
At the Frankfurt Motor Show, the German tuner is inaugurating its Tesla Model S program with styling options for the bodywork and interior, with the brand adding that its “customization program will be expanded continuously”, likely pointing to power upgrades in the near future.
For the outside, there’s an aerodynamic kit made out of carbon fiber permanently sealed with a high-gloss or a matte protective coating, which includes attachments for the side air-intakes, a front spoiler lip, a rear diffuser and a discreet boot lid spoiler.
The Model S now rides on 21-inch rims shod in Pirelli or Yokohama rubber size 255/35 R 21 at the front and 265/35 R 21 on the rear axle.
Inside, the customization program adds stainless-steel scuff plates with backlit BRABUS logo that changes color from white to blue, a redone lower center console with new storage options, heated and cooler cup holders, plus a wireless smartphone charger. There are plenty of different options for the upholstery, with the display model combining black leather and Alcantara surfaces with blue stitching.
The program is available for order now.
