Mercedes-Benz will display a personalized GLC 250 d 4Matic at the Frankfurt Motor Show featuring original accessories. Under the label Mercedes-Benz Sport Equipment, Mercedes-Benz offers a portfolio of elegant and sporty products designed to enhance the aesthetics of its models.
Among the genuine accessories fitted to the show car there’s the illuminated Mercedes star, which shines when the car is locked and unlocked by remote control, and when the doors or the load compartment are opened. Also illuminated is the door sill panel with lettering set in a polished stainless steel panel.
Mercedes-Benz Sport Equipment also fitted the GLC SUV with a two-piece rear spoiler, black design trim elements, mirror caps in high-glossy black, high-sheen chromed trim elements in the air intakes and the rear trim strip and high-gloss chrome-plated door handle recesses.
The show car rides on 20-inch 5-spoke light-alloy wheels painted in black with a high-sheen finish and black hub caps.
Practical accessories include a rear-mounted cycle rack that sits on the trailer coupling which can transport up to three bikes. The wheels of the bikes are fastened in cradles that can be moved along the base rails to fit the bike’s wheelbase.
There’s also the roof box 400, the medium-size version of the three available boxes. With a capacity of around 400 liters (14.1 cu-ft), it has an aerodynamic design and can be opened from both sides.
Mercedes-Benz Accessories also offers transport solutions inside the car, such as the shallow boot tub which has a slightly raised edge and fits the load area perfectly.
