If you live in Asia (mainly in Japan), then you’re probably aware of just how popular car the Toyota Crown is. In fact, there have been no fewer than 14 generations so far.

The Crown was first introduced back in 1955 and believe it or not, it was also the first Toyota model to ever be exported to the United States – eventually replaced by the Avalon after a couple of generations. Over the years, it’s proven to be a very dependable vehicle for police officers, taxi drivers, Japanese companies as well as government officials.

And even though some newer generations haven’t looked a lot more impressive than the ones they were leaving behind, this latest fourteenth generation model is not bad.

In terms of appearance, I think it’s safe to say that this rendering is superior to the real thing, as it features a Lexus LS body and a facelifted Toyota Land Cruiser 200 front fascia. Weird combo, but it somehow works.

While the front end isn’t going to leave you breathless, the rest of the car is elegant. Another way we could look at this rendering would be to just think of it as a poor man’s “Lexus LS”.
