Mansory is having another go at turning the Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe into even more of a high speed bullet, by increasing its total power output to a mind-bending 1,000 PS.
Yes, you read that correctly – it has a full 1,000 PS (735 kW) and 1,400 Nm (1,034 lb-ft) of peak torque. Basically, you’d need a freaking Koenigsegg in order to out-accelerate this car from a rolling start during a drag race.
Off the line, you should be able to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.2 seconds before stopping at an electronically limited 300 km/h (186 mph). And just so we’re clear Hellcat fans, this thing will lay waste to your Challenger.
In fact, come to think of it, this car should be able to accelerate as fast as a McLaren Sports Series, making it even more of a beast than the S63 AMG Coupe Diamond Edition that Mansory presented earlier this year.
In terms of appearance, we’ve got a carbon fiber body kit – custom spoilers, wider fenders, hood vents, extended side skirts and a huge fixed rear wing which, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, might just look a bit too exaggerated.
Seriously though, I think they should have went with something slightly smaller, in both height and width, though that’s not to say that I don’t like how the car looks, because I do. It’s definitely aggressive, and that’s something that should appeal to a lot of people.
What do you guys think?
