This Taiwanese driver, in the car with the dash-mounted camera, is one of the luckiest people on Earth. He not only caught amazing footage of a tornado sucking up a Hyundai city car, but it happened meters in front of his own car, which miraculously remained planted on the ground…
The video is scary because the little Hyundai Getz is there one second, then you see it being dragged away, then the next moment it’s gone (or just stuck in the trees further away from the camera…).
The tornado was created during Typhoon Soudelor, which ravaged Taiwan this past weekend. Apparently, wind power rose all the way to that of a category three hurricane.
Even so, the tornado itself is said to not have been all that big, with a funnel barely big enough to engulf the car. Even so, its sheer force became evident as it needed mere seconds to perform the disappearing magic trick.
