Mad Max is just a few weeks away from release and our anticipation is fueled by the latest live gameplay and commentary straight from Gamescom 2015.
So far, they’d shied away from showing the game working live, but now that it’s done and shipping they give a demonstration on the spot. We won’t discuss the gameplay specifics, as those have already been covered, but we will mention the impression of unpredictability this latest video left us with.
For instance, at one point the player is assaulting a fortified position, but as he’s working his way through the enemy guards, a different faction also comes in to attack the same objective.
What results is a spectacular display of vehicular combat, where very satisfying-looking ramming and weapons, plus your trusty sidekick add a unique flavor.
All of it is set against the still very pretty gameworld that stays very true to the atmosphere of the latest Mad Max movie.
